About Fred B. Goldberg
Our founding attorney — Fred B. Goldberg — is licensed to practice law in Maryland, Washington, DC, and New York, as well as before all local federal courts, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
He began his career with an interest in restoring fundamental fairness to consumers victimized by the unscrupulous and worked at the White House Consumer Affairs Office. He later became General Counsel to the D.C. Office of Consumer Protection. When he started this private practice he represented national and state consumer groups in litigation. His role as an attorney continues to be as an advocate — helping people who have been hurt by professional negligence or physically injured by other people's negligent actions.
Active in the legal community, he is a member of the D.C. Bar, Maryland State Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, D.C. Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice and the Brain Injury Association.
In addition to his regular client base, Mr. Goldberg also serves as Special Counsel to the Congressional Management Foundation, AARP, and the American Legion-Maryland Department.
